Rocket Internet’s hotel booking site, Jovago, has achieved an API integration with TripAdvisor, the global travel site with over 4 million hotels. This is a move that the firm says will facilitate easier hotel booking for travellers around the world.

This integration will give travellers visiting the TripAdvisor site a direct access to Jovago’s selection of hotels in Africa. Jovago lists about 5,000 hotels across Africa, 3,000 in Nigeria and about 880 hotels in Lagos, while TripAdvisor list 89 hotels in Lagos. A relatively low number, but perhaps the new integration will boost that number.

Since we are talking about hotels, it seems appropriate to ask. Where is hotels.ng in all these?

I haven’t given much thought to where my current phone will end up when it no longer serves its purpose. Until now.
