The United Bank for Africa (UBA) has officially launched the Twitter based transaction alerts, introduced last month, today. Customers now have the option to receive their alerts via Twitter Direct messages, asides the text message and email alerts.
The UBA Twitter Notification Service will complement, for added convenience, the current SMS/email alerts system for the subscribers.
Twitter is obviously one of the most popular means of communication among young adults, and now millenials can get their bank alerts where they spend most of their time. UBA customers seeking to receive transaction alerts via their twitter account can visit the UBA Group website or the UBA twitter page to register.
