The modern workplace is still largely testosterone driven, but there are not many places where the gender disparity is more pronounced than in technology. So successful women, in tech no less, have to stick together.

On that note, the Women in Technology Ghana, Zambia, Uganda, and Girls in ICT Rwanda are putting together the first women in virtual meet up, Pan African Women in Tech [#WTechAfrica]. It is an online event with viewing parties across the participating countries.

Date: Saturday, 2nd August, 2014

Time: 12pm GMT, 2pm CAT and 3pm EAT

It will be a session where women will encourage other women to go hard and bridge that gender divide; we will be bringing more updates about the event as we get them.

Interested women can register here.
