It’s the season of love and Uber is delivering valentine messages with cupcakes on demand this Friday and Saturday.
How do you take advantage of this Uber freebie?
The rules are simple and straightforward. Lovebirds are to open their Uber App on Friday (02/13/15) or Saturday (02/14/15) between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm. The cupcake button on the bottom slider should be selected and the destination the user wants the cake to be delivered to, should be indicated. Finally, the user should complete the order by making his or her request, and voila you and (or) your date will be munching on your treats.
Now, the part that most people really want to know about, the cost for this service. Apparently, users have the option of choosing between miniature cupcakes (from Cookie Jar in a set of 12) or regular sized cupcakes (from Honey’s Cupcakes, and a set comes with four cupcakes) for a fee of 3,000 naira.
Those that have a sweet tooth also have options of few flavours to choose from in the list; the blogpost also notes that fees will be charged on user’s bank card. This will not be a first from Uber, as last christmas, they embarked on what they termed “the Hamper Delivery Service.”
As at the time of writing this post, the Cookie Jar website is “under maintenance”. Nonetheless, seems valentine’s looking good for me.
