From quirky commentaries on solemn socio-political affairs, to slapstick shoki* monologues, to overlooked values added to the NIgerian life, and the quest for the origin of Orijin – clearly Nigeria’s breakthrough alcoholic drink of 2014, we bring you the best of @NotGoodluck, the parody Twitter account of Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Jonathan – which recently disappeared from Twitter.

We mourn the demise of the parody of a parody. We didn’t think they would ever leave us. But in the time they were here, they made us laugh. We are not sure why the account disappeared, and while we can speculate, there is another post for that. Stay tuned.

Update: @NotGoodluck has returned to the twitterverse. Beyond his cheeky comment about actually being Jesus Christ, @NotGoodluck hasn’t addressed its disappearing acts.
