Per a directive from the Ugandan telecoms regulator, Ugandan Communications Commission, Ugandan MNOs will a launch new and uniform USSD codes for airtime recharge and balance check on 1st of March, 2015.
According to report from Dignited, the new UCC directive is so that MNOs can streamline their services.
The new codes, which will be used across all networks, are *130*VC# to recharge and *131# for balance enquiry.
