Etisalat is moving some execs around in its Nigerian operation.
The company has appointed Ibrahim Dikko as Vice President for regulatory and corporate affairs and Ken Ogujiofor as Vice president for consumer sales and service.
Dikko was previously the company’s Director, government and regulatory affairs where he was in charge of regulation, community and environmental issues. Dikko will now lead an integrated approach to achieving the company’s strategic plan of forging and maintaining valuable partnerships among all its stakeholders.
Ogujiofor, initially the Director of channel sales where he was responsible for identifying channel partners across corporate, distribution and alternate channels for sales of the company’s product and services will now see to synergising the mix between direct and indirect sales as well as ensuring quality services across all Etisalat’s touch points.
Matthew Willsher, Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat Nigeria explained that “these appointments are necessary to reflect level and scope of responsibility of the two executives and also to sharpen the organisation’s focus on the customer, drive operational efficiency, and improved results through better alignment of functions with similar priorities.”
