South African pay-TV provider, StarSat, is off-air according to TechCentral.
Subscribers reportedly noticed the downtime Monday afternoon and have made frantic calls to TechCentral to complain about their inability to reach the company via any of the official channels.
We apologize for any technical difficulties you have experienced accessing our content. Our team is currently working on resolving it.

A text message from the operators cited technical hangups for the downtime. “StarSat apologises for signal loss due to a technical problem from our supplier. Our technical team is urgently working on the problem”.
StarSat is one of the five subscription satellite services licensed by South Africa’s communications regulator Icasa late last decade to launch commercial services alongside MultiChoice -another pay-TV operator.
***StarSat is up and running, according to a recent report from Techcentral. The spokesperson for the company, Eddie Mbalo, allayed the fears of its subscribers by saying that, “Everything is working fine again. Of course, we are monitoring the situation and will ensure we continue to provide customers with quality service”.***
