Tigo Rwanda has announced its partnership with Bank of Kigali to tie up its Tigo Cash services into Bank of Kigali customers accounts.

ITnewsAfrica reports

that the partnership will enable customers make financial transactions between Tigo Cash wallets and Bank of Kigali bank accounts.

“The new service gives Tigo Cash users and Bank of Kigali customers an easy way to access their money anytime, anywhere through our strong network of agents across the country.” says Tongai Maramba, General Manager of Tigo Rwanda. “We continue to support financial inclusion initiatives and build closer links into the financial system.”

Tigo Cash wallet users will now be able to send money to Bank of Kigali accounts, by dialing *200*11# from their mobile phone, and Bank of Kigali customers can also send money from a Bank of Kigali account to Tigo Cash wallets using the bank’s Mobiserve by dialing *334#.

This partnership further opens Tigo’s service centers and Cash agents to Bank of Kigali customers and also all Bank of Kigali Branches and MobiBanks to serve Tigo Cash Wallet users.
