Giraffe, a South African startup that connects employers with employees has emerged winner of the South African pitch of the Seedstars World pitch tour.
The South African finals held at one of Standard Bank’s recently launched business incubator, according to Disrupt Africa.
The startup will represent South Africa at the Seedstars World global pitch finals scheduled to hold in Switzerland in February 2016.
Up to $1.5 million in equity investment and support is the grand prize at the global event and finalists from 50 participating countries will duke it out at the global finals.
The Seedstars World tour is touching down in 13 Africa cities. Lagos, Nigeria is the next city in line with the pitch event slated for July 31 at the Startup Week Lagos. Ghana follows immediately after with the pitch slated for 5th of August.
