Center4Tech, the incubator and STEM support division of Miu Research Limited, has commenced registrations for its ‘Young Inventors Summer Camp 2015’.

The camp will hold across seven Nigerian cities; Ikeja, Lekki, Festac Town, Uyo, Calabar, Owerri and Abuja. Activities will start from August 3 through 28, 2015 and is targeted at children within 8 to 17 years old, the company revealed to TechCabal via an emailed press release.

Similar to the easter technology camp it held earlier this year, the event exposes primary and secondary students to technology projects in areas such as electronics, micro-controllers, mobile games, mobile apps and animation effect.

“Our aim is to introduce technology to our kids and teens early in a fun, very simplified and practical manner with a view to raising a new generation of Scientist, Engineers, Inventors and Entrepreneurs,” Centre4Tech said.

Some of the courses the students will learn include mobile games design and programming, animation design and 3D design and modelling.

Register on the event website; the programme will run from 9 a.m – 4.30 p.m daily.
