Global startup pitch competition, Seedstars world will be hosting 11 startups in Ghana at the Accra edition of global pitch tour. The event will hold at the Impact Hub Accra on the 5th of August 2015.
The event will have the participating startups pitch before a panel of judges for a chance to compete at the global finals.
Participating startups at tomorrow’s event include Boomers International, Beep, OnToday, Afrishopen, Flippy Campus, LendingSquare; online credit marketplace, Asoriba, Farmable, CustOpinion, Ahwenepa Fashion; an online African fashion marketplace and Enyinam Tech; a clean tech solution.
“The startup ecosystem in Ghana has consistently produced top-notch startups and it doesn’t look to be any different this year.” said Marcello Schermer, regional manager for Africa at Seedstars World said in a Disrupt Africa report. “We are excited to see what Ghana has to offer and who we’ll meet again in Geneva.”
TechCabal announced earlier that the Startup investment company’s pitch events will hold across 12 African cities starting from the 26th of May to 27th of November 2015.
The event has been held in Mozambique, South Africa and Nigeria. After the Ghana event, the next stop is Rwanda.
