The Google Developers Group in Port Harcourt has announced that it will host a two-day UX masterclass event starting today.
The GDG Port Harcourt UX Masterclass event will admit 20 participants. The participants will be split into five groups of four members with each group required to profer user experience solutions to five application problems.
Each group will pitch and present their solutions on the final day of the event. Members of the winning team will be awarded prizes.
“The event is expected to introduce participants to the rapidly-growing world of user experience design. The masterclass will also provide attendees the opportunity to meet and network with other design enthusiasts,” the organisers said.
The organisers indicate that there would be no coding at the event as participants will focus on design and requirement gathering; understanding what the app will deliver.
The user experience masterclass will hold at the Focushub in Port Harcourt on the 14th and 15th of August 2015.
