The re:learn edtech programme, an initiative of The Co-Creation Hub, has started a range of after-school programmes specially designed to ensure children aged 5-18 years can learn to code without disrupting the regular school calendar.

The three programmes – the re:learn After-school Club, Gap Year Club, and Weekend Club – will last for 6 weeks, from November 7 to December 17, 2016, and will take place at CcHub’s centres in Lagos and Abuja.

There will also be an Open Day where parents and schools can sign up their kids/students for an hour of free programming sessions. This is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2016, and will run from from 11.00am – 3.00pm.

The re:learn After-School Club is a program that provides one hour of programming lessons, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is open to students in Primary One up to SS3, and lessons will run from 4pm – 5pm. It’s starting from November 8 to December 17 2016. Interested participants can register here.

The re:learn Gap Year Club is for kids who have completed secondary school but won’t be starting university until a few months or the following year. This program will hold on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am – 3pm, starting from November 7 to December 17, 2016. This program is especially flexible with two tracks to choose from. Registration for either of the tracks can be completed here.

Lastly, the re:learn Weekend Club is for parents who can’t make time out during the week to get their children to the re:learn venues. They can sign up their 5-18 year olds up for 3 hours of fun learning every Saturday from November 7 to December 17, 2016. Registration can be completed here.

For those interested in the Open Day at re:learn event, it’s a programme where kids can interact with project demos and try their hands at building their own mini projects, ranging from computer animations, games and electronics irrespective of their age or experience. You can reserve your tickets here.
