Great News for the people of Warri and its environs!!!
The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, is calling for all the brilliant minds in the land to participate in the Olu of Warri Tech Challenge.
The Tech Challenge is a golden opportunity for indigenes and residents in Warri and its environs to showcase their skills, and position themselves for global relevance, through Technological innovation.
This is in line with the King’s vision to redefine the face of innovation and tech advancement in Warri through STEM education. The “Tech Challenge” is open to budding talents, with a passion for tech advancements and emerging digital solutions, to find creative solutions to relevant problems in the Kingdom.
Simply put, solve a problem using Technology. Initiatives and creative ideas submitted should solve any prevalent problem across different areas of society. But the most important element in your proposed solution is the use of Technological tools and features.
The tech challenge is open to all youths between 18 – 35 years old. Applicants must be residents in Warri and its environs or indigenes.
Submission starts on Thursday, September 1, and it closes on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
The Cash Prize is One Million Naira.
Every application will go through a thorough screening and assessment process, in order to ensure that these three criteria are met:
– Identify a Problem
– Design a Creative Solution
– Incorporate relevant features of Digital-Technology into your solution.
