Well, here is your chance to get started. Apply for the Magic Lab Fellowship 2023, a three-month intensive training on the different aspects of animation today to secure your spot.
Magic Carpet invites applications from interested students seeking to pursue a career in 2d and 3d animation, including game development, to apply for the six-month fellowship program with guaranteed employment opportunities for students who successfully complete the program. Applications are currently open from now till March 12th, 2023. Classes will commence on the 13th of March, 2023.
The fellowship is available for all graduates between ages 18 to 35 and will begin on the 13th of March 2023.
Magic Lab is a hands-on experiential learning program with curated courses in animation and digital skills, aimed equipping students with the on-demand skills to take ownership of their future. The objectives of the Magic Lab Fellowship are to:
- Train and build the capacity of continent to deliver world class Stories in Animation and Games
- To create jobs by creating and funding projects that can absorb talents.
- Create collaboration and innovation among African artists.
Applicants must demonstrate an interest in animation, illustration and game design and commitment to growth and development of their skill. They must also have two guarantors.
