The African Institute of Technology and Innovation (AITI) is looking to empower African youth interested in technology by offering a free 2-day boot camp happening this May. This beginner boot camp will run from the 6th to the 28th of May and it comes with the opportunity to acquire insightful, basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, and software deployment.
The African tech ecosystem and the tech economy have witnessed a boom in the last decade. The number of startups has grown and so has the number of startup acquisitions, and the number of unicorns. There are now a growing number of youth interested in tech and tech jobs and despite the nature of the economies in their countries, tech creates opportunities for work and travel for African youth. Initially starting as an e-university, The African Institute of Technology was created to help the youth take advantage of the knowledge and opportunities that lie in tech and empower them to shape the world around them. The institute offers courses in technology with an array of world-class instructors teaching these courses. It also provides mentorship and counseling for career development and academic excellence.
