Zoho, a global technology giant, in partnership with Avetium, one of Africa’s leading transformation consultancies, hosted Beyond Digital 2025, a high-impact event that brought together business leaders, innovators, and digital transformation experts to explore how African enterprises can turn digital adoption into measurable business outcomes.

Held at The Antonia Hall by Civic, Ikoyi, Lagos, the hybrid event convened hundreds of participants across the continent, setting the stage for what many described as Africa’s most strategic conversation on unified technology.

The event opened with powerful insights from Dr. Bayo Adekanmbi, renowned data and AI expert, who emphasised that Africa’s next phase of growth will be shaped not by the number of digital tools organisations adopt, but by how connected and integrated those tools are.

“Africa is full of businesses with digital applications scattered across departments, yet very few have unified systems capable of driving true enterprise intelligence,” Dr. Adekanmbi noted. “Technology delivers impact only when strategy and systems are aligned.”

A high-level panel discussion featured experts across finance, trade, consulting, and enterprise innovation, including Folagbade Adeyemi, Managing Director, Anchoria Securities, Abisola Esan, CEO, African Import Export Solutions. Onome Debbie Akwara, Strategy & Transformation Leader, Ayodeji Aina, Head of Enterprise Innovation, First Bank of Nigeria
And the Moderator: Andrew Esemezie, Principal Consultant, Fairground Consulting

The panel highlighted the realities organisations face: legacy systems, weak internal alignment, and low adoption culture. while emphasising that Africa’s digital maturity will depend on leadership commitment and integrated solutions built for the African context.

A standout moment of the event was the customer case session, where attendees witnessed how an organisation transitioned from siloed operations to a connected system using Zoho’s unified suite deployed through Avetium. The result: faster decision-making, improved customer experience, and strengthened operational clarity.

The event featured two product sessions: Zoho Innovation Showcase: An exploration of Zoho CRM, Desk, Analytics, and team collaboration tools, presented as a unified operating system for modern African organisations, and Avetium Transformation Showcase: Demonstrated by Lead Strategist, Tobi Ogundipe, highlighting transformation frameworks and digital accelerators designed specifically for African businesses scaling across markets.

Closing the event, speakers reiterated that Africa’s growth story will be shaped by organisations that choose unified systems over fragmented digital adoption.

“For Zoho, the energy and conversations at Beyond Digital confirm the rising demand for accessible, integrated technology on the continent,” said the Zoho Country Manager. “For Avetium, it reinforces our commitment to helping African organisations turn technology investments into real transformation.”
