Renowned career and recruitment platform, MyJobMag, has announced the opening of its Annual Career Kickstart Scholarship.
This is a fully funded digital skills training programme aimed at unemployed, underemployed, and career-switching graduates in Nigeria.
The initiative will sponsor participants to receive training in in-demand digital and technology roles, including product management, project management, UI/UX design, digital marketing, cloud computing (AWS), among others.

According to MyJobMag, the scholarship is designed to address a growing gap between the skills demanded by Nigeria’s digital job market and the resources available to early-career professionals:
“We interact with job seekers and employers daily, and one consistent challenge we see is that many qualified graduates lack access to structured, job-ready digital skills. This scholarship is a practical intervention to help remove that barrier.”
The programme will be delivered entirely online over a four-week period, allowing participants from across the country to take part. In addition to fully funded training, each scholarship recipient will receive 20GB of data to support their participation in virtual classes.
Participants who complete the programme will also receive certification, CV and LinkedIn optimisation support, and inclusion in MyJobMag’s talent pool, where they can be discovered by employers and recruiters.
Applications for the Career Kickstart Scholarship opened on December 15, 2025, and will close on January 30, 2026. Successful applicants will be announced in February 2026, with training scheduled to begin in March 2026.
The scholarship forms part of MyJobMag’s broader objective to connect 100,000 young Africans to sustainable employment by 2030, leveraging skills development and employer access to improve job outcomes.
