The Find X10 Pro Max is the top phone in OPPO’s new Find X10 lineup, sitting above the Find X10 and the Find X10 E. OPPO skipped a Find X10 Pro this year.

Its biggest selling point is the camera:  the Pro Max uses a 200MP ultrawide camera, while the regular Find X10 uses a 50MP one. Both phones share a 200MP main camera and a 200MP telephoto camera.

The phone arrives soon after the iPhone 18 Pro Max and the vivo X500 Pro Max. OPPO wants to win you over with photos, and it gives you several strong lenses so you can shoot almost any scene.

OPPO announced the Find X10 Pro Max’s chip and confirmed plans for a global launch event on September 15. Some specification sites list September 15 as the phone’s global release date, but that is the announcement date, not the start of sales. 1. Display

The Pro Max has a 6.78-inch flat screen with a 2772 x 1272 resolution. The screen changes speed from 1Hz to 120Hz as you use it. In some games, it goes up to 144Hz.

OPPO says the screen reaches up to 2,000 nits across the full display, so you can read it in bright sun. It also uses 3,840Hz PWM dimming, which is easier on your eyes at night.

2. Performance and storage

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro powers the phone. The chip uses a 2nm process. OPPO pairs it with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Pick your storage size with care, since the phone has no memory card slot. OPPO says the chip delivers 17% better overall CPU performance than the last generation. Reviews will show how it holds up in daily use.

3. Rear cameras and video

The Pro Max has four cameras on the back:

• Main: 200MP, 24mm, f/1.5, with optical image stabilisation (OIS)
• Ultrawide: 200MP, 13mm, f/2.2, with a 124-degree view
• Telephoto: 200MP, 70mm, f/2.1, with OIS, 3x optical zoom and close-up shots from 10cm
• Colour sensor: helps the phone get colours right

OPPO says the main camera captures up to 17 stops of dynamic range at 1x. In simple terms, it keeps detail in bright skies and dark shadows in the same photo.

For video, you get 8K at 30fps and 4K at up to 120fps. OPPO also offers 8K Log recording and Open Gate capture for creators. Check which video modes work on each lens once the phone reaches stores.

4. Front camera

The selfie camera is 50MP with autofocus. It records video at up to 4K 60fps.

5. Design and colours

You can pick Moon White or Warm Orange. There is also a Light Titanium version. These are English versions of OPPO’s China colour names.

The Moon White model mixes two finishes on the back, a look OPPO says comes from classic cameras. The phone is about 8.4mm thick and weighs about 233g to 235g, based on the colour. OPPO also adds a physical Snap Key so you can take photos faster.

The phone can handle rough use. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water, plus an IP66 rating. It also has an SGS five-star drop rating. These ratings come from lab tests, so treat them as extra protection and still handle your phone with care.

6. Battery and charging

An 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery powers the phone. It supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The phone runs ColorOS 17, based on Android 17. It also comes with:
