Yes, there is a WordPress community in Lagos and it is called WP Lagos.
WP Lagos is a budding community of WordPress users, bloggers, developers, professionals and enthusiasts who constantly keep in touch to share information, updates, new techniques, best practices, tolls, resources and offer support where necessary to one another. One of the ways they offer this support is by organising monthly meetups.
Accordingly, there will be a WordPress Meetup this month themed, “Beginner’s Guide to WordPress”. Particularly targeted at new users and bloggers, the meetup will also provide an opportunity for WordPress oldies (developers, seasoned bloggers and enthusiasts) to network and swap ideas among each other.
There will be presentations from WordPress experts including Tunbosun Ayinla, popular within tech circles for developing the Voguepay Woocommerce WordPress plugin.
