In a bold move poised to reshape the African tech landscape, Babatope Ebenezer Olajide, founder of the Canadian-based technology training and recruitment company Blackforce, has announced an extraordinary opportunity for 1,000 young Africans to receive FREE Salesforce and Cloud Technology training in 2025. This groundbreaking initiative, inspired by the resounding success of the West African Dreamin event in Lagos, seeks to bridge the widening tech skills gap in Africa and empower the continent’s youth with future-ready expertise.

Program Highlights

The initiative, part of Blackforce’s Cohort 9, will kick off on January 29, 2025, and run for four to six months. Designed as a comprehensive training program, it includes an unpaid internship for eligible participants. The curriculum focuses on seven key career tracks, blending cutting-edge content with practical, real-world application:

  1. Salesforce Career Development  
  2. Business Analysis Career Development  
  3. Cybersecurity Career Development  
  4. Data Analytics Career Development  
  5. Platform Development (Technical Careers)  
  6. Cloud Technology & DevOps Careers  
  7. Artificial Intelligence Career Development – Level 1

Participants will benefit from a mix of live and on-demand courses, master classes, and a unique “lunch-and-learn” series. The training will encompass sought-after skills such as Salesforce Administration, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Business Analysis, Cybersecurity – Governance Risk and Compliance, Incident Responder, Artificial Intelligence, Agentforce, Tableau, CPQ, AWS, Azure, DevOps, Python Coding, and Data Analytics, preparing participants to thrive in competitive global markets.

Eligibility and Application Process

The program targets young Africans aged 18-25, with a minimum qualification of five O Level credits, including English and Math. While priority will be given to applicants from West Africa, the opportunity is open to candidates globally. Adults over the age of 25 are welcome to apply for this program; however, they will be required to contribute financially toward their training. The fully-funded training opportunity is exclusively available to young adults aged 18 to 25.

  • Commitment to completing the full training program and associated certifications.
  • Active participation in all training and internship activities.

Applications open on January 4, 2025, at 9:00 AM EST, and slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Notably, 250 spots (25%) are reserved for active Blackforce alumni nominations.
