Linda Ikeji had had to contend copyrights infringement catcalls from time to time, but the blog has only gotten better over time. The blog, according to Alexa is the 13th most visited site in Nigeria.

Owned by the freelance journalist and blogger Ameyaw Kissi Debrah, the blog was launched in 2008. The blog is a curator of celebrity gossips and fashion news from Ghana and the rest of the world. The blog also curate songs and new releases from artists, and allows listeners download songs right away and drop comments too.
In 2013, Ameyawdebrah won the Best Showbiz/Entertainment Blog category for Ghana Social Media Awards, and City People Entertainment Awards for Best Blogger (Ghana) in the same year.

BellaNaija is a Nigerian entertainment, lifestyle and fashion blog launched in July 2006 by Uche Pedro.

Kenya- based Mpasho reels off a regular dose of gossip from artistes, fashion, lifestyle, events, politics, music, and explicit toppings. Mpasho news is Radio Africa Group’s clone of Ghafla. The site is the 55th most trafficked site in Kenya, according to Alexa.
Ghafla
Ghafla, began as a music lyrics site in 2009 and has been restructured into an entertainment news and gossip platform. It is owned by Samuel Majani.
