South Africa-based business incubator, Riversands Incubation Hub, is calling for small and micro enterprises (SMEs) to apply for its business accelerator programme.
The accelerator programme will run for three years, according to a report by Disrupt Africa, and will enable entrepreneurs receive mentorship, support and training.
The focus of the acceleration will be on SMEs that fulfill a corporate or business market demand and can provide goods and services at quality and price levels that make them an asset to any company supply chain.
“The accelerator is open to black-owned businesses only, with startups expected to meet the requirement of 51 per cent black-ownership, an excerpt from the report reads. “We will have the scale to catalyze entrepreneurial activity and be a vital bridge between small business and corporate South Africa.”
Applications are opened till September 15, 2015 and will close once 150 startups have been selected.
