MIT is taking applications for its first international MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. It’s the first one MIT is hosting outside of their base in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
On this edition, MIT is going to Seoul, South Korea. The bootcamp opens on Thursday, March 20 at D.Camp in Gangnam and will run through till the 24th of March, while the Demo days will hold on March 25 at Born2Global in Pangyo Techno Valley.
MIT will select 50 students to to learn innovation-driven entrepreneurship from accomplished founders and mentors, including author and entrepreneur, Bill Aulet and Elaine Chen, Senior Lecturer at MIT Sloan.
At the last MITx Global entrepreneurship bootcamp, five Nigerian startups were part of the 50 that participated from over 24 countries.
According to a statement from MIT, admission will be based on focus on excellence, initiative, contribution to community, team & cultural fit and entrepreneurship potential.
Applications are open till January 18, but applications before December 31st can be considered for a scholarship. Go here to apply and for more details.
