The team from fintech startup, Asoriba, are going to be at this week’s MEST Show & Tell to talk about their time in the Barclays Techstars Accelerator program that launched in Cape Town in April this year.
The Show & Tell is happening on Thursday, August 4, 2016, from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at the MEST campus, and the folks from Asoriba will be there to tell attendees what it’s like being in the Barclays Accelerator. They’re also going to show them stuff like how to put together a winning application and how to overcome the differences between the South African and West African market.
Asoriba was one of the ten fintech startups that were selected from more than 450 applicants into the accelerator program. The team spent 3 months in Cape Town connecting with “decision-makers” from Barclays and the broader South African business and technology community (more international exposure). Obviously, they’ve learned a lot and are ready to share.
