starthub

Not to be confused with “startup”, StartHub just got off the ground in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state. Its founders Hanson Johnson (he’s Nigerian), Patrick Willie, Raphael Asuquo and Solomon Samuel are looking to encourage technology startups and innovators in the region.

According to Hanson — and I feel the need to point out that this guy is Nigerian…anyway, he says:

“Just like ccHub, iHub, iDEA Hub, StartHub offers similar hub services like workspace and other facilities to aid innovation in the tech community in Nigeria. We are poised to make start ups start up faster.”

I see what you did there, sir.

I’m still checking it out, but my ogas here seem excited enough.
