Instagram announces a new app, Layout from Instagram that allows easy combination of multiple photos into a single image.
Instagram says it’s fun, it’s simple and it gives you a new way to flex your creativity.
Layout is designed in such a way that, it will automatically show previous customised layouts as you choose photos from your camera roll. And to make it easy to find the photos you want, it has a Face option that shows you all the photos in your camera roll that feature people.
All you need to do is drag and drop photos to rearrange them, pinch to zoom or pull from the sides of each photo to adjust its size, and get your layout just right. Then you can flip and rotate your photos to create cool arrangements and mirror effects.
Photo booth option is in the app for any spontaneous moments, where all you need do is tap it to start a countdown and capture photos that directly goes in a layout.
With Layout, users can tell visual stories and share multiple moments from an entire adventure.
Layout from Instagram is currently available for iOS devices in App Store. The app will be on Android platforms in the coming months.
