Lagos-based business accelerator, Wennovation Hub, has begun accepting applications for its WennoKICK, a 6-week pre-acceleration program.
The hub made the announcement on its website and says the program will hold at it’s Lagos hub and the newly-opened hub in Ibadan.
WennoKICK is optimized for idea/early stage, for-profit, non-profit and hybrid business models and aims to help participants build strategies that will enable them validate their business models. The core of the program involves training in creating an elevator pitch, a business model, pitch deck, corporate branding, risk management, a four-year financial plan and exposure to industry mentorship.
The Lagos-based accelerator is moving out of it’s base for first time to Ibadan, Nigeria’s largest city. “We have chosen Ibadan because of the huge human resource potential here given a student population of about 55,000,” the Hub said in a Disrupt Africa report, “Most importantly, we want to drive even development in the country and opening an incubator to help drive the next generation of high impact entrepreneurs.”
