Google Developers Group Lagos (GDG) today announced the July edition of its APISaturday event.

The event will focus on APIs and feature two sessions.

In one of the sessions, Celestine Omin, lead developer at Konga will develop a platform while explaining the necessary thought processes and demonstrating best practices when building systems and creating APIs.

Femi Taiwo, CTO, INITS and manager of GDGLagos will speak on the recent changes to Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) for “handling push notifications to multiple platforms, devices and web browsers with one codebase”, and how this can be applied.
