Eight Kenyan startups will pitch for a $100,000 prize in the Pitch for Impact Competition happening in Nairobi today, July 24, 2015.

Pitch for Impact Competition is one of the many events that is holding as part of the build up to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), an event that showcases innovation from entrepreneurs across the globe, according to a report in Disrupt Africa.

The selected startups, including Chamsoft, Politik, FarmDrive and FabFi, will pitch the ideas they have for building a great business that will have positive and social impact to a host of renowned investors from around the world.

One startup among the eight competitors will be selected to win the $100,000 prize.

Excitement is already building in Kenya where Obama is billed to address the GE summit. The Air Force One, and Obama will touch down later this evening in Kenya for the GES that begins tomorrow.
