The Telegram Messenger app, a decentralized, cloud-based and encrypted messaging service that claims to be the fastest and most secure instant messaging app out there, has been available for iPhones and Android phones for a while now, but it was recently released in Beta version, for Windows Phone.
The app which many maintain, and rightly so, is similar to Whatsapp shows more features than its competitor. Telegram has an open API and protocol free for everyone; it is free forever. No ads. No subscription fees; it has no limits on the size of your media and chats; Telegram messages can self-destruct; you can access your messages from multiple devices. But by far the most attractive feature is the promise of end-to-end encryption of messages that you can set as an option in the profile of the chat partner.
Of course , this makes an unfavorable statement about the state of WhatsApp development these days. Although Telegram still does not have a voice chat feature.
