CcHub is set to host the Raspberry Pi Jam in Lagos. The event aims to bring together hackers and makers within Lagos and environs.

Raspberry Pis are small, credit card-sized computers that can be plugged into a television, programmed and combined with other hardware to do really cool stuff like this.

According to a statement released by CcHub “The CcHUB Raspberry Jam is aimed at demonstrating the evolving maker movement in Nigeria – with special focus on Raspberry Pi-based hacks…The Jam is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the Raspberry Pi, share the projects you’ve been working on and learn what other people have been up to with their Pis.”

The Raspberry Pi Jam is however not limited to “hackers”, however. Individuals with no prior technical knowledge can also participate. The program is scheduled to hold at the Co-Creation Hub on December 11, 2014.
