It used to be that users can only embed snackable videos from Twitter proprietary photo sharing app, Vine. With the latest offering from Twitter, however, which is coming after the social media giant incorporated video sharing features at the end of January, users can now embed videos right from the network unto their webpages.
According to a post from Twitter developer advocate, Niall Kennedy, embedded Twitter-hosted videos are enhanced by the same JavaScript used to render Tweet buttons and embedded Tweets.
“Video embeds are available for videos captured and uploaded through Twitter’s applications for iOS and Android as well as Twitter Amplify partners,” Niall says.
Embedding Twitter videos are just as easy as embedding Tweets. There are two possible way about it. The processes are illustrated below.
