Applications for SparkUp 2015 accelerator programme has opened for South African tech startups willing to apply, according to the organisers website.

The weekend programme is intensively designed to boost tech based or enabled startups in South Africa to become investor ready; selected startups are expected will go through three days, of training, from May 8-10.

15 startups will be accepted and given a chance to set their businesses such that it can compete on a global level. The programme will be facilitated by experts, coaches and mentors who will take the teams through all the elements they would be needing to prepare their businesses for investment.

“For those startups who make the grade, there’s a weekend long training programme designed to give you the skills, mindset and network to get your venture noticed. If that’s not enough, we have active angel investors with cash on the table,” an excerpt from the official website.
