Vodacom Rolls out Voice Call on 4G LTE in South Africa

Vodacom has finally enabled the VoLTE functionality on its 4G network in South Africa. Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge smartphones users are the only beneficiaries for now though.

NollyLand is now available in US and Canada Via Roku

The African movie streaming service, NollyLand has extended its services to the digital video player, Roku. The service is available to Roku subscribers in the US and Canada.

Jumia Opens in Senegal

The online retail platform, Jumia has opened its Senegal operations.

Star Music app Aggregates Music Entertainment

The Nigerian Star lager beer company, has launched Star Music- an entertainment app that allow users stream and download songs performed by Nigerian artists at no cost. It curates news on the Nigerian music scene, lyrics, pre release tracks, videos and the likes.

Abdallah Khamis has been Onboarded on Airtel Kenya

Airtel Kenya has announced the appointment of Abdallah Khamis as its Commercial Director.

AIF will Give Away $150,000 to Three from the Ten Nominees
The African Innovation Foundation (AIF) announced the 10 nominees for the fourth edition of its Innovation Prize for Africa Awards (IPA) which are now also in contention for the grand share prize of US$150 000.
