Online hotel booking platform, Jovago, is paying to have people monitor its adverts on various media platforms in Nigeria.

A Techmoran report says that the ad monitors will earn 500/hour to listen or watch the spots. Intending media monitors must send an email to zmylowski@jovago.com with ‘media monitoring’ as a subject.

Next, participants must state which type of media they want to monitor; either a satellite TV Channel, terrestrial TV, radio or all the options, including the number of hours they hope to monitor (between 6am – 10pm).

Media monitors must also send their account details and report at the end of each day indicating the number of Jovago spots observed during the hours they chose to monitor the adverts.

Each channel is monitored by at least five people and a report consistent with those  from other monitors on the same medium will ensure a monitor is paid the day after.

The exercise will run from June 18 through July 5, 2015.
