The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, has arrived in Kenya ahead of the launch of Windows 10 operating system taking place tomorrow, July 29, 2015, Techmoran reports.

Nadella had tweeted earlier this afternoon about his arrival in Kenya. “Arrived in Kenya to celebrate @Windows 10 launch with fans & learn how tech is empowering Kenyan people & orgs,” Satya Nadella tweeted.

Though Satya talks about celebrating with fans and learning how tech is empowering Kenyans, all this is very vague and it’s not clear why Satya is visiting.

An earlier PCMag report says this is likely part of Microsoft’s new #UpgradeYourWorld campaign; a new year-long initiative to celebrate those who inspire and empower others, in celebration of the Windows 10 launch.

Windows 10 will be available as a free upgrade and shipped with Cortana, Microsoft Edge and integrated with Xbox to give people around the world more freedom,

The launch of Windows 10 is expected to be celebrated in over 110 countries including the U.S, Canada and Puerto Rico.
