Innovations in Healthcare, an organization that supports the scale and impact of healthcare innovations, is seeking healthcare entrepreneurs with promising models to join its network.

Innovation for Health was founded in 2011 by Duke Medicine and is funded by Duke University, McKinsey & Company, and the World Economic Forum, Disrupt Africa reports.

The company connects innovators to the people, organizations, and information they need to strengthen their organizations and scale up their innovations so that they serve more people, better and ultimately help expand access to quality, affordable healthcare

“Our current network includes 55 innovators operating in 47 countries and serving over 7 million people. Spanning the full range of health care delivery – from rural and urban clinics, specialty hospitals, anti-counterfeiting devices, telemedicine technologies and safe birthing kits,” –Innovation in Healthcare.

Entrepreneurs are encouraged to self-nominate or nominate another health innovator.

The organization is accepting nominations through August 2015, applicants may send a mail to anne.wales@duke.edu regarding questions.
