Hotel Now Now, a recent entrant into the online hotel booking business in Nigeria has announced its agreement with The Guardian Newspapers to hosts its widget on The Guardian’s website.

The deal will allow The Guardian’s web visitors book hotels without leaving the website.

According to Hotel Now Now’s CEO, George Jinadu, “we have run over two thousand deals with over five hundred hotels in Nigeria this year alone, and we are committed to growing Nigeria’s travel and tourism sector, by helping customers get the best deals on hotel rooms.”

This sort of deal typically works by guaranteeing the partner website a percentage of the amount of transactions that the vendor books via their platform. According to the official release, the partnership with The Guardian is the first of such agreements for Hotel Now Now. The company plans on placing its widgets on other popular Nigerian websites, a move that it clearly hopes will give it an edge against other online hotel booking platforms in the country.
