Yuzah has partnered Airtel Nigeria to launch its mobile app for the discovery and delivery of diesel,  Nigeriancommunicationsweek reports.

The new mobile app, Yuzah, which was likened to ‘Uber for diesel’ in a recent interview  with TechCabal, helps people discover and request for the delivery of diesel products.

Yuzah mobile app works by locating where a user is (via google maps) and then reveals the available diesel trucks within that radius. Once that has been established, the user then places his or her order and the product will be delivered within 30-60 minutes by a Yuzah approved supplier.

“Airtel has collaborated with Yuzah, one of the winners of Airtel Catapult-A-Start up competition, to offer Nigerians this unique service which will further enhance their access to diesel and address the inconveniences associated with the logistics involved in delivery,” said Maurice Newa, chief commercial officer, Airtel Nigeria.

The mobile application recently won Airtel’s one million naira catapult-a-startup competition earlier this year alongside six other startups.

Yuzah can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
