Dubizzle, a classifieds website controlled by Naspers has announced that it had rebranded to OLX in Middle east and North African markets.
Innovation-village reports that this move is part of Naspers’ strategy to have a unified name for all its classifieds platform.
The changes have been effected in countries where Dubizzle operates including Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Tunisia.
Naspers had previously changed the Kalahari and Dealfish to OLX in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
In 2011, Naspers acquired 25% stake in Dubizzle and extended its stake in the company to 54% in 2014.
