You know what really grinds my gears? When people from god-knows-where decide to mention me on Twitter, to offer unsolicited (usually ill-informed) opinions about my tweets.

Even worse? When people I don’t know tag me in promo photos that have I absolutely nothing to do with. I found out how to end the onslaught, and I decided to share with you, well, because you’re awesome.

Here goes (I assume your Twitter app is open at this point).

Open settings, and select your account

Go_to_your_settings

Scroll down to the privacy section

Scroll down to the privacy section

Choose photo tagging and toggle it off

Choose_photo_tagging_and_toggle_it_off

Or you can just limit tagging to only people you follow.

Or_you_can_decide_to_limit_tagging_to_one_people_you_follow

That’ll show ’em.
