The Remix Mini

The Remix Mini

I had a great time chatting to David Ko a few hours ago. The internet was choppy in places, but I think we learned a lot more than I could have said about what Jide Technology is about. He cutely insisted on pronouncing “Jide” in the Yoruba way — with a Chinese accent. LOL.

Our Blab.im analytics say more than 250 of you viewed the broadcast. Thanks to everyone who could make it. And congrats also to the lucky winners of their own Remix Mini Android PCs, @efemoney_ and @don_contra. They will be delivered to you soon.

The rest of us who didn’t win (or weren’t aware that there was a giveway) will be glad to know that the devices will be available from Monday through Wednesday via Dealdey at crazy bargain prices. On Monday, it will cost N7,999. On Tuesday, the price will be N10,999. By Wednesday, you’ll still be able to nab one for N14,999. But that’s how far the deal goes. After that, you’ll be able to avail yourself of a Remix Mini on Konga for a limited promotional price of N16,999, discounted from the final retail price of N29,999.

Here’s a replay of the live broadcast

And watch out for Osarumen’s Remix Mini review next week.

To learn more about the Remix Mini Android PC, as well as how to buy one, you can reach out to Jide Technology via Twitter or Facebook.

For next week’s broadcast…we’ll be hanging out with Dotun Olowoporoku, technology entrepreneur, angel investor and venture partner at Starta. The other day, he kinda got into a “fight” on Linkedin about “whether African entrepreneurs should use technology to create a new future or if they should stick with microwaving safe and proven business models such as ecommerce”. That debate will continue next Wednesday. Details to come.
