MTN

The MTN Group has named former Vodafone European Cluster CEO, Rob Shuter, as the new MTN CEO.  This appointment is coming eight months after the former CEO, Sifiso Dabengwa resigned amidst the problems the company had with the Nigerian Communications Commission.

Rob Shuter will be taking over from Phuthuma Nhleko, who temporarily stepped in after Dabengwa’s resignation. He will be going back to his old role as non-executive chairman as soon as Shuter resumes.
