After 6 years of being a favourite among Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora, weekly podcast, NoRubber aired its last episode yesterday.

NoRubber, a show where Nigerians could talk about any and every thing, aired on GidiLounge and was hosted by Kay and Adrian – with a few regulars like Chinny and Babse.  For the last episode, aptly titled “End of an Era”, listeners were asked to email voice notes so they could be compiled and aired.

The NoRubber finale was pretty emotional (those songs didn’t help either) and there was a lot of love and farewells on Twitter.

NoRubber may have ended, but there’s another podcast on the way – a spinoff of some sort. It’s called Ladies Room and it’ll be about sharing personal experiences and shedding light on various issues from a female perspective

All NoRubber episodes are available on the GidiLounge app.
