Zimba Women is organising a two-day summit for women entrepreneurs in Uganda. The Technology for Business Summit will run from tomorrow, Wednesday, September 28 to Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala
This is the first Zimba Women Business Summit and it’ll bring together women who are building and running businesses. This year’s theme is “Breaking business barriers” and the speakers expected include Akua Gyekye, (Head of Public Policy, Facebook), Selam Kabede (Senior Associate for Africa, Seedstars World), Patricia Russ (UN International Trade Centre), and officials from the Uganda Revenue Authority, Uganda Investment Authority, and Uganda Communications Commission, to name a few.
The speakers will share their experiences – how they got started, what went wrong, what surprised them, and how their companies grew – and participants will learn how to use technology to grow their businesses.
