Leading global cryptocurrency exchange, Bitget, is pleased to announce its sponsorship with Team Spirit, Russia’s leading esports organization and winners of The Dota 2 International 2021. As part of the agreement, Bitget will be featured for multiple brand presence including logo placement on jerseys, in-game and social media platforms. Moreover, various Esports and Game-Fi-related trading competitions, giveaways, and promotions will be held in conjunction with this partnership.

“We see the sports spirit of fairness and competition in Team Spirit, which is also what we value. We share the same passion for exploring new fields and innovations. We believe that this collaboration will help familiarize more people with the crypto industry, and expose esports enthusiasts to the investment opportunities provided by digital finance,” said Sandra Lou, CEO of Bitget.

Sandra continued to add, “While this is not our first entry into the esports arena, it will not be our last partnership within the space. We believe that there is a natural synergy between them and we are keen to explore further and help strengthen the value of cryptocurrencies and decentralized technologies within the esports and virtual worlds.”

Team Spirit is a Russian esports organization founded in 2015. Since its establishment, the professional multi-gaming organization has been actively involved in the global esports landscape and has rosters in three disciplines: Dota2, CS:GO, and Hearthstone. In October 2021, Team Spirit won The Dota 2 International 2021 and became the only second-ever Eastern European team to become The International champions since Natus Vincere in 2011, while securing the biggest prize pool in esports history of US$18 million.

The CEO of Team Spirit, Nikita «Cheshir» Chukalin, stated “We are very pleased to have Bitget as our partner and look forward to seeing how such cross-border cooperation will create more synergy and value for both sides. We are pleased to see that companies in the most progressive industries are becoming our partners. Bitget – undoubtedly a future-focused company, greatly aligns with our values. Crypto and esports, things that are seemingly out-of-reach and virtual, are now nearly inseparable parts of our lives. We at Team Spirit are excited for the future collaborations and eager to witness the growth of both communities.”
