Today marks the beginning of an innovative educational initiative, the 1000 Lines of Code, aimed at empowering 1000 senior secondary students through technology. Organised by CodeGarageAfrica, in collaboration with [Partners Names], this initiative is set to inspire and educate the next generation of tech enthusiasts.
The 1000 Lines of Code initiative is a week-long program designed to introduce 1000 senior secondary school students from 110 schools across 11 local governments in Ibadan to the world of coding and technology. Held at the prestigious International Conference Center in Ibadan from 15th July,2024 to 19th July, 2024, this event features hands-on coding/ non-coding workshops, inspiring talks from industry experts, and interactive sessions aimed at igniting passion and curiosity in computer science and technology.

Throughout the week, participants will engage in coding/non-coding challenges, receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, and explore various aspects of software development and technology. The initiative culminates in a showcase where students will present their projects, demonstrating their newfound skills and creativity.
