Zedcrest Wealth, an investment and wealth management firm and a subsidiary of Zedcrest Group, has appointed Stella Duru, a partner at tier-1 Nigerian law firm, Banwo and Ighodalo as its new board chairman. Her appointment will strengthen the company’s corporate governance and sustainable growth.

“We are excited to welcome Stella as our new Chairman. Her leadership will strengthen our strategic direction and growth as we build the Best Investment App on the Planet,” Renah Osiemi, Zedcrest Wealth’s acting managing director said.

This appointment aligns with the Group’s induction into the Society of Corporate Governance in November 2024 and the Central Bank’s push for stricter compliance among financial institutions. Duru’s over two decades of experience in mergers & acquisitions, investments, the energy sector, divestments, and contract structuring will help guide the company’s strategic decisions and regulatory compliance.

“I’m thrilled to join Zedcrest Wealth as Chairman and look forward to working with the team

to make a real difference for our clients. I will focus on fostering a culture of trust, transparency, strong corporate governance, innovation, and sustainable growth,” Duru said.

Duru began her law career at Banwo Ighodalo in 2001. Stella is also a non-executive director on Capital Trust Investment and Asset Management Limited and Zapphaire Events boards. She was recently ranked by the International Financial Law Review 1000 (“IFLR 1000”) as one of the “Women Leaders” in Law.
Founded in 2020 by Adedayo Amzat, Zedcrest Wealth is an investment and wealth management firm that provides personalised financial solutions, helping individuals and institutions grow and manage their wealth.
